Got a call from Brother Mike Ellison telling us he will be undergoing open heart surgery Wednesday, March 17, and will be out of work for a couple of months. Keep Brother Mike in your prayers.

We have just been told that Brother Joe Minter has a serious medical issue that is not going to allow him to continue to work. He must begin treatments this week and could use some financial help. Please help all the stewards and jobs remember Brother Joe in their sick & needys. We will be sending a letter out on Brother Minter.

Brother Gerald Hooks had open heart surgery recently and is recovering and will be out of work for a while. Remember Brother Hooks in our "Sick n Needy" donations.

Brother Neil Snipes had an operation to remove some cancerous growths in his throat area and is recieving radiation and chemo treatments. Keep Brother Neil in you thoughts and prayers.
Update on Neil, 3/16, Neil had a feeding tube installed last week to give his throat time to heal, is still in Druid City Hosp. in Tuscaloosa. 

Brother Spaulding "Marty" Martin has been dealing with some heart issues in the past year and is filing for disability. He could probably use some help if possible.

1/22/2k10  Brother Olan Mashburn update: Brother Olan had triple heart bypass surgery this morning and "came through with flying colors", reported by Brother Adam Dorough.  Brother Olan will be out of work for a while.

 
Brother Ron Ellenburg:
Ron was injured in a car wreck going to work about a year ago. He has not been able to work and has applied for his SS disability. Ron is still not getting any help from SS, and could use some help if possible.

Sister Beverly (Red) Gamble: Red substained a neck injury on the job last year and has been in an ongoing battle with comp Doctors. She is still being treated for pain and could use some help.

Brother Ken Thrash: Ken had knee replacement surgery 1/12/2010 and will be out for several weeks. Remember Brother Thrash in your "sick n needys."
